AUGUST BURNS RED LIGHTS UP THE HOUSE OF BLUES HOUSTON ON 7/28 - PHOTOS BY CHRISTOPHER BROWN

Closing out their string of Texas dates, August Burns Red brought their Constellations 10 year anniversary tour with them to the fans of Houston, Texas. The Pennsylvania metalcore outfit played their Constellations album, released in 2009, in its entirety. Supporting acts included upcoming metal group Silent Planet, as well as direct support by Canadas music veterans Silverstein.

The crowd gave Jake Lurhs no shortage of vocal support as the crowd yelled back lyrics at his request, electrifying the air in the House of Blues through every track. A hefty encore saw Bassist Dustin Davidson join Drummer Matt Greiner on percussion after Greiner nailed an impressive drum solo. The group closed out the night with hits from Messengers, Leveler, Found in Far Away Places and Phantom Anthem, leaving out any tracks from Rescue and Restore, leaving the crowd buzzing and looking forward to the next anniversary tour in 2021 of the Leveler album.
