3 DOORS DOWN AT THE HEB CENTER - PHOTO GALLERY BY MICHAEL MULLENIX

Image
The summer concert season rocks on with the arrival of 3 Doors Down on July 18th to the HEB Center in Cedar Park, Texas.  The Mississippi Alt-Rock Titans took the stage and launched out on the song Duck And Run, setting the stage for the fist pumping Hard Rock anthems to come.  No doubt that 3 Doors Down is an interesting chapter of the Post-Grunge, Alternative Rock scene that nestled an interesting corner of modern American Mainstream music (which included a Presidential inauguration), and this was on full display during the band's packed performance in the Austin Area.  The band's setlist reflected their 20 year history including the more energized hits such as Still Alive and My Way down to the slower jams like Be Like That and Let Me Go and even grungier efforts like Loser.  I suppose only one song is directly about the United States Military, Citizen/Soldier, even though those of us that grew up with them might be mistaken for believing this applied to most all of their s…

Guitar Legend ADRIAN GALYSH Releases "So Close... So Far" Off of Upcoming 'Venusian Sunrise: 20th Anniversary Edition'

Image
Rock Guitar virtuoso ADRIAN GALYSH has revealed the first single, "So Close... So Far," off of his upcoming Venusian Sunrise: 20th Anniversary Edition. Due out July 10, 2018, Venusian Sunrise: 20th Anniversary Edition will include completely re-recorded tracks, the remastered original record, and bonus live tracks.
“Venusian Sunrise was recorded in my parent’s basement on a single Alesis 8-Track ADAT recorder. While the performances are commendable for their time, given limited resources at the age of 22—it lacks what 20 years of experience and advancement in recording technology can now easily provide—richer guitar tones, advanced recording techniques, the palatial keyboard and realistic orchestral sounds of today, and maybe most importantly…real drums!” - Adrian Galysh

Track List:  1. Venusian Sunrise (2018)  2. What On Earth (2018)  3. The Blue Jungle (2018)  4. Lullaby of South Aiken St. (2018)  5. Drifting Memories (2018)  6. So Close... So Far (2018)  7. Lydian Dreams (2018)  8.…

Alter Bridge to Release Career-Defining Concert Worldwide September 7, 2018

Image
After 14 years performing together, five full-length studio albums, and countless sold-out shows around the globe, there aren’t many items left on a band’s bucket list. For Alter Bridge, one of the remaining list items was crossed off in October 2017 when the band performed two sold-out shows at London’s iconic Royal Albert Hall backed by the 52-piece Parallax Orchestra led by conductor Simon Dobson. Those career-defining shows were captured and combined in the upcoming Napalm Records worldwide release Live At The Royal Albert Hall on September 7th. “I think out of all the years of doing this [music], this experience is the top two or three highlights without a doubt. It’s something that none of us are going to forgot,” explains Myles Kennedy in a recently released trailer that can be seen here:https://youtu.be/iMwwi-7wRBk. Live At The Royal Albert Hall is a 21-song collection that features some of Alter Bridge’sbiggest hits, fan favorites and even a couple of rarities including “Words …
