THEM EVILS INTERVIEW WITH JORDAN GRIFFIN

BAH: Let our readers know who you guys are and who does what in the band? How did y'all meet?

TE: I’m Jordan and I play guitar and sing. David is the drummer and Jake plays bass. Jake and I actually grew up in Vegas together on the same street. We've known each other since middle school. David and I were introduced through a coworker of mine - I told her I was tired of trying out Craig’s List drummers so she gave me his contact info. During the first jam we knew it was a fit. You could feel it in the air.

BAH: Your sound, your beautiful sound!  How did that come about?

TE: We always wanted something driven and punchy with a blend of overdriven amp tone and fuzz. It’s something that just flowed naturally and came about organically.

BAH: Talk to us about your new single "Got Me Rockin'"!  We here at BAH can't stop listening to it! What inspired the song?

TE: Thank You, we’re really glad you like it!  We feel it represents us well and embodies the direction we want to go in as a band.  Musically, it started with the chorus guitar riff. Lyrically, we've always been the guys girls are afraid to take home to their families. Black Sabbath shirts, partying, long hair, and rock n’ roll don't go over too well with the parents!

BAH: What are some local bands people shouldn't sleep on from LA?

TE: Hmmm, I don't know. We don't really pay attention to "LA" bands. We know a lot of local bands from Orange County that are killer like Big Monsta, The Sugar, Big Rig Dollhouse, and Thundergut.

BAH: You are on tour with Red Sun Rising, do you think Them Evils could take them in a game of 3 on 3 basketball?

TE: Definitely not, haha! We're not the type of band that plays traditional sports. We'd definitely kill ‘em in a game of dodgeball or mini putt-putt golf, though.

BAH: If you had an all the money in the world and you could set up your own music festival, who would be the headliners?

TE: Queens of The Stone Age, Alice In Chains, AC/DC, Black Sabbath, and Led Zeppelin.

BAH: We all know the Zombie Apocalypse will happen, when it does who will be the first in the band to get bitten and why?

TE: Jake because he's the most unlucky one in the band. In the last three weeks his tires have been punctured four times by screws driving on the freeway. It’s a phenomena at this point…

BAH: Any album or EP news?

TE: We launched a Pledge Music Campaign to sort of "kick-start" the process of our upcoming EP release and it’s a great way to engage with our fans. The EP will be released on May 4th, more news on that soon!

BAH: We thank you once again for your time, please let us know about anything else we didn't cover.

TE: We have a headlining tour after the Red Sun Rising run during the end of April and all of May, and we’re performing at Welcome To Rockville, Carolina Rebellion, and Rock On The Range. Stay up to date with us via our website themevils.com and follow us on our social media platforms.  And we have killer items @ our Pledge Music campaign, be sure to check it out!
