Getting the opportunity to see HIM play live one last time was nothing short of a great night. This love metal band has been around since 1991, so they've been playing for 26 years. After 26 years these guys have decided to part ways, but gave everyone one last chance to see them before they go. They sold out two nights in Los Angeles at The Wiltern. I got to see their second date on October 25th and it was such a great performance. They came on stage playing "Buried Alive by Love", and that was definitely a great way to start out the night and hype everyone up. Thinking back on the night these guys just played so many bangers. This was my third time seeing them I believe, but my favorite time seeing them was at the Hollywood Palladium since it's just a more intimate venue. The band will be releasing a limited edition, picture disc vinyl as a Black Friday Record Store Day exclusive. The Lower The Bar Bitchin’ Edition will be in record stores on November 24th and will become an instant collector’s item, as it is limited to 1500 pieces in the United States. The Third Annual "Bowl For Ronnie" Celebrity Bowling Tournament Raises $49,000 for the Ronnie James Dio Stand Up and Shout Cancer Fund

The third annual BOWL FOR RONNIE Celebrity Bowling Tournament, benefiting the Ronnie James Dio Stand Up and Shout Cancer Fund (, took place on Friday, October 6, 2017 at Pinz Bowling Center in Studio City, California. This year's event brought in $49,000 for the Dio Cancer Fund, now in its eighth year of raising awareness and much-needed funding for cancer research.  It was attended by a capacity crowd of over 300 rockers, bowling enthusiasts, music industry influencers, Dio fans and Dio Cancer Fund supporters, with tickets selling out the day before causing the building to be filled to capacity.
