California rock and party legends Steel Panther have something special coming for their Fanthers. The band will be releasing a limited edition, picture disc vinyl as a Black Friday Record Store Day exclusive. The Lower The Bar Bitchin’ Edition will be in record stores on November 24th and will become an instant collector’s item, as it is limited to 1500 pieces in the United States. The vinyl edition features the critically acclaimed last album as well as the previously limited release track, “Red Headed Step Child.” Each vinyl version will also feature a download card so fans that purchase the vinyl can also get the Lower The Bar Bitchin’ Edition digitally, which comes with another bonus track, “Momentary Epiphany.”

The Third Annual "Bowl For Ronnie" Celebrity Bowling Tournament Raises $49,000 for the Ronnie James Dio Stand Up and Shout Cancer Fund

The third annual BOWL FOR RONNIE Celebrity Bowling Tournament, benefiting the Ronnie James Dio Stand Up and Shout Cancer Fund (www.diocancerfund.org), took place on Friday, October 6, 2017 at Pinz Bowling Center in Studio City, California. This year's event brought in $49,000 for the Dio Cancer Fund, now in its eighth year of raising awareness and much-needed funding for cancer research.  It was attended by a capacity crowd of over 300 rockers, bowling enthusiasts, music industry influencers, Dio fans and Dio Cancer Fund supporters, with tickets selling out the day before causing the building to be filled to capacity.

Well, like any rock band that cares about its fans, you do it again, but you take it to the places that missed out the first time. And that's exactly what metalcore masterminds Killswitch Engage and legendary thrash/metal masters Anthrax are announcing today — "KillThrax II," a 29-city tour of North America presented by SiriusXM that kicks off January 25 in Montreal, Canada and will zig-zag across the continent to wind up in Portland, ME on March 4.

DEUCE TO DROP SOPHOMORE ALBUM INVINCIBLE

Portland based and Los Angeles bred rapper, producer and singer DEUCE has announced that his latest album, Invincible, will be released via Better Noise Records on December 1st. The masked musician is vying for immortality with 14 new tracks, representing his next natural step from his 2012 debut solo album, Nine Lives – which sold 100,000 units, received 33 million views on YouTube, and featured the hit single “America”. Invincible can be pre-ordered on iTunesHERE.

Recorded in both Los Angeles and Portland, the recording process brought out polarizing emotions. “The material we did in L.A. was a little angrier,” Deuce explains, “In Portland, it got more mellow and hip-hop. Fifth Freedom is A High Octane, American Rock band fueled by soulful lyrics, blazing guitars, and magnetic rhythms.
The Portland, Maine based four-piece brings a modern attack to classically rooted rock with a bluesy swagger while maintaining the dynamics of contemporary hard rock and metal, making them a favorite of active rock, southern rock, and metal fans alike.
In 2014, Fifth Freedom Released their self-titled debut record which debuted at No.1 at Bull Moose music (a 12 location New England record store chain), The band embarked on a two-month tour across the United States supporting the internationally known group Black Stone Cherry which earned the band national attention and airplay on both college and terrestrial radio.
