SALOHCIN PRESENTS: MESHUGGAH GALLERY FROM CHICAGO OPEN AIR FESTIVAL!

FIRST NEW SONG FROM MESHUGGAH IN FOUR YEARS!

Meshuggah are streaming "Born in Dissonance" as the lead single of their upcoming new album "The Violent Sleep of Reason."

Due out on October 7, the album was inspired by a Goya painting called "The Sleep of Reason Produces Monsters."

Drummer Tomas Haake told Rolling Stone about the tune: "It ties in with the biblical apocalypse, the idea of a deity coming back to undo it all and taking to heaven the ones who are righteous.

"It's about a monster that's coming for us, or maybe an asteroid hurtling towards the earth. It's always been a weird conundrum for me how some people, even devout people, fear the Apocalypse whilst others welcome it. I've never understood that."
