After SXSW I went up and caught an exciting weekend of South By So What? in the Dallas/Forth Worth area.  Unfortunately due to a mix-up UnderOath was not permitting any media at that show.  Luckily for me, I was quickly able to arrange a press follow up at their next Texas event in San Antonio.  The lengths I go to for you my adoring public, I followed the REBIRTH OF UNDEROATH across the state of Texas to bring them here to you.  The Sun Has Riz, The Sun has Set, and Here I Is, In Texas Yet!

The Rebirth of UnderOath is upon us, the band in its seminal form has regrouped and are playing a ton of shows around the country.  Recently hitting up the Self-Help Festival, we caught up with them again in Texas.  From the Rebirth, UNDEROATH!

EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW WITH TOMMY VICTOR OF PRONG!

Tommy thank you for taking out some time from touring to answer some questions.
BAH: Prong have been around since the late 1980's,  what do you contribute your lasting success?
TV: I don’t know for sure. Maybe it has something to do with when I was 11 years old I just wanted to be in a band get on stage and get the hell out of where I was. That feeling remained for a long time and it may be hard wired into me. I can’t explain a lot of it. I know I’ve wanted to get out of the whole band thing several times and I somehow get pulled back in. Success is relative though. To some I’m successful to others I’m not. I’ve made way more mistakes than base hits along the way. Me, I think I have like a .285 lifetime batting average. There’s a lot of guys way more talented than me out there. A lot of guys way more better looking. I’ve had some good breaks. I’ve also simply willed survival in the business many times. You just keep looking for pieces to finish the puzzle.

Legendary Misfits Guitarist Doyle Wolfgang Von Frankenstein will be launching the As We Die World Abomination Tour 2018this Spring. Beginning February 21st in Clifton, NJ, the tour winds through North America before crossing to the UK March 26th in Birmingham, England, and will later move through Russia before finishing up April 9th in St. Petersburg, Russia; KILLUS and DeadXll will be joining on the UK and Russia run. Upon his stateside return, Doyle will also be performing at the 20th annual New England Metal & Hardcore Fest on April 21st at The Palladium in Worcester, MA.
