DRAGGED INTO SUNLIGHT announces collaboration with Gnaw Their Tongues
Surreptitious UK extreme act DRAGGED INTO SUNLIGHT have alluded to a new release due out later this year. The group circulated the above poster at the prestigious underground metal festival, Maryland Deathfest, announcing a forthcoming collaboration with the experimental black metal act Gnaw Their Tongues.
DRAGGED INTO SUNLIGHT revealed a short and sweet statement on the effort: "Expect a vortex of audio madness inspired by the likes of Godflesh, Merzbow, Napalm Death, Terrorizer, Mugwart and Esoteric, and of course our good friends Gnaw Their Tongues. More soon."
The band will next bring their "skin-crawling, mulit-sensory" misery (NPR) to Austrian fans this June as they are scheduled to headline the Speckjaga Summer Solstice Fest on . The band have not confirmed or announced any further shows for 2015. Previously, Dragged Into Sunlight has appeared at Incubate Festival, Maryland Deathfest and several European jaunts including shows alongside Weedeater, Rwake, Bossk, Black Cobra, Eyehategod and Mayhem.
