Once again, I am back loyal readers with a first ever look at a brand new rock band, The Gitas.  Recently I was invited to Orange County to bear witness to a Rock N Roll Force in the making.  Finalizing their lineup and with their first record under their belt, these California natives took to the Chain Reaction stage this past weekend to begin their path to glory.  A solid 30 minute set of fist-pumping Rock, they covered the spectrum of louder than life anthems reminisce of classic pioneers from the 70's and 80's, with solid grooves that put them in line with the best of 90's legends like Nirvana, Stone Temple Pilots, and Pearl Jam.  I want to share the first glimpses of this group, submitted for your approval, it is my honor to introduce you to THE GITAS!

With festival season upon us I think that Julie Andrews should be booked now!

MORGOTH launches lyric video for new track, "Snakestate"

Today, MORGOTH has released a lyric video for the track "Snakestate" off the upcoming album, Ungod. "Snakestate" perfectly displays the trademark sound and musical variety of Ungod, an album that turned out surprisingly diverse and fresh, capturing the essence of MORGOTH by blending the ferociousness of the band's legendary EPs, Resurrection Absurd and The Eternal Fall, with the abysmal atmosphere of MORGOTH's great classic albums, Cursed and Odium. Fans can listen to the track here:
