ALBUM REVIEW: ABORTED NEW LP "NECROTIC MANIFESTO" BY LANE STEELE FRONT MAN OF KAUZE!
The Latest Aborted LP is a beyond relentless solid 14 tracks of Modern Death at its prime. This is the eighth studio album the band has put out and truly has upped the ante on production for this brutal record.
Stand out player is drummer Ken Bedene in my opinion and many other opinion’s I have read in other reviews. As all the members are featured and very talented the drumming is complex and has tons of layers and grooves of which some would not expect from any typical death metal album. Alright enough ranting on drummer and band unto the review of "The Necrotic Manifesto"
Opening track “Six Feet of Foreplay” is creepy and apply named as it goes right into the insanity that this track 2 “The Extirpation Agenda” The use of samples in between songs are funny as they are brilliant. Brutality and insanity ensue from track 1 -6 till we hear the big huge almost slayer type intro of “Coffin upon Coffin” which is my favorite track of this album. Warning! Drum intro on the next track “Chronicles of Detruncation” may explode your brain. The Track thats the heaviest in my opinion “Die Verweiflung”. I am a huge Hellraiser fan so love the Pinhead soundbites throughout the album and also that they named the last song “Cenobites” which are the demons featured in Hellraiser. The better part is the song earns the right to borrow from the most brutal horror franchise in history. This is a must have for any true death metal fan and one of my top picks for 2014 so far. PICK IT UP!
