Slipknot are planning to enter the studio in early 2013 to record a new album, which will be their first release following the tragic 2010 death of bassist and founding member Paul Gray,
The masked marauders, who are headlining this summer’s Mayhem Festival tour, will start recording the follow-up to 2008′s ‘All Hope Is Gone’ in early 2013, according to DJ Sid Wilson. He explains that the group will wait for singer Corey Taylor to finish up his touring obligations in the fall with his other band Stone Sourbefore beginning work on the new Slipknot disc in earnest.
“We’ve got Mayhem Festival this summer and, after we break for winter and Stone Sour are done with their tour, we’ll be back in the kitchen with Slipknot,” Wilson reveals to NME. “Actually, before Stone Sour finish touring we’ll be in the studio preparing for Corey’s return, keeping the irons hot.”
Wilson continues, “It’ll be tough, it won’t be easy. Slipknot’s the biggest thing in all of our lives, but we’re always going to come back to it. We’re going to get it done. I’m excited and I’m ready to do it … I’m sick of hearing people talk, it’s time for action. When we come together, it’s badass; we need to harness that energy of the live shows. When we come together like we always do, it’s going to be brutal.”
Slipknot will share the stage with Slayer, Motorhead, Anthrax and others on this year’s Mayhem Festival tour. Stay tuned for more updates on Slipknot’s next album as the news breaks.

James Schmid from Waterloo, Ontorio. Alter Bridge provides everything you'd expect from a rock radio hit, while also giving die hard AB fans everything they expect from their beloved band with My Champion.
The song opens with a guitar riff reminiscent of Def Leppards "Photograph" before hitting you square in the face with a "heavy for radio" sound that remains catchy without disappointing their "we like it fast and hard" fans. Their fan base, and music ranges in such a wide spectrum, it…

people. As they took the stage as the opener of the “Let’s Get
Abducted Tour” the crowd was anxious. They played multiple songs from their
2016 summer released album “Smile” and to the bands surprise most of the folks
watching them were mouthing the words. As they recently got back from touring
overseas it has come to their attention that they are steadily gaining
popularity. The link below allows you to find where they will be next along
